Richard Le Gallienne

Richard Le Gallienne was a British poet, essayist, and critic associated with the Yellow Book Decadent movement of the 1890s. A Liverpool-born friend of Oscar Wilde who contributed to The Yellow Book, he later emigrated to New York and eventually settled in France. His romantic verse and prose retained a late-Victorian aesthetic long after modernism had made it unfashionable.
