Olive Tilford Dargan

Olive Tilford Dargan was an American poet and novelist who wrote both under her own name and as Fielding Burke. Her Appalachian novels — Call Home the Heart (1932) and A Stone Came Rolling (1935) — are significant works of American proletarian fiction. She also wrote verse dramas and poetry rooted in the Southern Appalachian landscape.
