Cymbeline
by William Shakespeare from c. 1610–11
About
Imogen, daughter of the British king Cymbeline, secretly marries Posthumus against her father's wishes and is separated from him when he is banished to Rome. A wager over her fidelity, a scheming villain, a Roman invasion, and a lost royal identity all converge in a tangled but ultimately joyful resolution.
